Rina
RINA is a joint stock company, in charge of the operational activities of the Foundation Registro Italiano Navale, a private, non-profit making institution, established in Genova by a group of shipowners and underwriters in 1861 and one of the oldest classification societies in the world. RINA is the holding society of the RINA Group, and provides assessment, inspection, certification and research activities in accordance with national, EU and international laws relevant to materials, projects, technologies, products and installations, including the performance of work commissioned by Public Administrations and other Authorities.
